iPad Help Desk

iPadheader Hours of Operation: 

  • 7:40 am until 8:05 am
  • 6th Grade Lunch
  • 7th Grade Lunch
  • 8th Grade Lunch
  • 3:30 pm until 4:00 pm

Please be mindful that the iPad help desk is maintained by a computer technician that also repairs all teacher and staff devices in the building when the iPad help desk is closed. The iPad helpdesk is only open for the 6th, 7th and 8th-grade student lunches, before school and after school.  Open times are not posted on the website or the iPad helpdesk due to many different time schedules used during the school year: 1) Assembly Schedule, 2) Collaborative Planning Schedule, 3) Soaring to Success Schedule and the 4) Standard Schedule.

Please visit the front office for iPad repair payments or replacement iPad cases and chargers. The helpdesk is not authorized to accept any payments.

  • What is the iPad Optional Protection plan? Click here for more information on OPP.
  • The Optional Protection Plan is a one-time coverage for “accidental damage,” or theft (with police report). The protection plan does not cover lost iPads.  The iPad Optional Protection Plan can be purchased for $50 for one school year. The coverage begins when purchased and goes through the summer months and 10 days into the start of the new school year.
  • The help desk provides a service for school-issued Apple iPad Air. Here we assist students with iPad malfunctions. All iPad hardware repairs are sent to Apple Care.
  • All iPads must be in the school provided iPad case on the school-issued iPad at all times. Discipline action will be required if a student iPad is found without an iPad case.  A replacement fee of $50 is required if the school-issued iPad case is damaged, has writing, or stickers on the school issued iPad case.  LCSD1 does not support personal devices.
